If you are a poet, spoken word artist or performer with some work in progress (a live literature show/a performance poetry show, etc.) that you are ready to share with a London audience, we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for samples of work of no more than 15minutes to showcase in March and there will be an opportunity for audiences to feed back to help you shape your work.

Just to reiterate, we are not looking for artists to perform individual poems but for artists who are working on perhaps a 50 min-hour long live literature show. Please click here for further info.

Successful applicants will perform in Southbank Centre’s Festival Village on Thursday 20 March at 7pm. They will also get 2 free tickets to an event in Southbank Centre’s April – June Literature and Spoken Word season.

If you are interested in taking part in this event, please email Bea Colley & Afia Yeboah (details below) by 12noon on Friday 21 February with an outline of what you would like to perform (no more than 500 words please) include a performance CV, details of previous publications as well as video clips and web links to your previous performances. Six artists will be chosen to perform their 15 min piece.

We are looking forward to hearing from you and please do get in touch if you have any queries
